We
have snow in Kotka! Pelle has enjoyed his very first snow experience.
So far so good - snow seems to be a one big toy: it´s moving when
you touch it and it tastes funny.

Today we spend a nice day at very first Finnish RR Speciality in
Lahti. Expert of the day was Mrs. Cheryl Curie-Thompson AUS and
breed entry was 84. Wow!
Pelle won the 7-9 months puppy class with HP and placed 2nd best
male puppy. Uno got G in champion class.

What
a show weekend for our clown from Sweden! On Saturday we were in
Espoo Puppy Show (all breed) under judge Ms. Tuula Savolainen (breed
and group competition). RR entry was only 2. Pelle won the baby male
class with HP and was awarded as BOB-puppy. In finals he
placed nicely as BIG-1 puppy.
On Sunday we took part to SSKY (head organisation of Finnish RR
club) all breed Puppy Show in Vantaa. RR entry was 6 (4 baby boys, 2
baby girls) and judge for the day was Ms. Soile Bister, FI (both
breed and group competition). Pelle placed 1st in baby male class
with HP and was chosen as BOB-puppy. In the group finals he
again won the group so final placement also today BIG-1.

|
Pelle
had his very first Puppy Show today in Lahti. Breed judge was Ms.
Taina Nygård. Pelle won the baby male class (5-7 months) with HP and
was awarded as BOB-puppy. In the finals our rabbit boy (not
even a one proper step in the final ring... only jump jump jump)
placed BIG-4 puppy.

Both
of the boys, Uno & Pelle took part to unofficial lure coursing
competition (speeding competition, 80 metres) in Kotka.
Uno was dreaming a little bit in a start and wasn´t on the best act,
but placed 23th (out of 132 dogs) with time 7,48 seconds in maxi
class. Pelle placed 2nd in puppy class with time 9,08 seconds. This
was Pelles first time after a lure.

|
We made a little weekend trip
to Ballerup International show. This time Uno and Pelle stayed at
home and we´re travelling with jackrussells only.
In JRT ring breed entry was 29 under judge Falk Siewert, D. Mauno
won the open class with CQ, lost the CAC competition to junior male
but won CACIB "fight" over champion males so final placement BM-2,
CACIB.
Tellu got wonderful critique but due to missing P4`s was awarded
with 2nd prize (Judge was SO sorry to give me the blue ribbon...)

Obedience competition (Kymenläänin kennelpiirin PM) in Hamina. Judge
was Ms. Marja Ala-Nikkola. Mauno and I got the last 1st prize for the title
TK1.

Unofficial agility trial with Mauno (Ch Miimoksen Bolboshoenus) in
Kotka. A nice 0-result
(-30,54) and placement 2nd in Mini-1 class. Go Mauno - my
special little leasing boy!

We
did a trip to Sweden to meet Pelles breeder and his siblings. On
sunday afternoon we spend a lovely time with puppies and their
owners of Murumbi B-litter by the lake on Brevik.
On monday to tuesday we visited ridgeback people in Sweden and
enjoyed the hospitality at Libbans place on Värmdö.
Thanks Libban for the fun companion, wonderful food and a good night
sleep on Halvslagsvägen!
Thanks for the puppy owners of B-litter for funny afternoon! It was
nice to meet you all. Thanks Carina for training tips!

Pelle entered to his very first unofficial Match Show and placed as
3rd on puppy class.

We
had visitors from Sweden: Pelles mother Bisquit and breeder Libban
visited us for few days. With the help of professional trainer we
also did a first blood track to Pelle. Thank you Libban for stay and
tracking tips with Pelle.

Pelle is doing fine and has grown up a lot (15 kg this week). He´s
playing with "uncle Uno" every day and Pelle thinks Uno is the
coolest guy on this planet. Pelle likes swimming, hunting, eating
magazines, painting a house, ducks and food. He seems to be a one
happy little puppy.

We
did a nice holiday trip to Silute National Show, Lithuania. Uno
ended his "active" show career with style and placed BOB, BIG-1
and finally BIS-5. He also became a new
Lithuanian and Baltic Champion. Breed and group judge was Mr. Henryk
Stepka, Poland and Best In Show was judged by Mr. Piotr Krol, Poland.
We were supposed to take two shows in Silute but after getting the
CAC in Saturday I decided to start a holiday and forget the show in
Sunday. It seemed to be a good choice because it was all rain in
Sunday.

Something unexpected happend today: Uno and Pelle played first time.
I thought it would have taken at least 6 months for Uno to accept
the puppy...

We
spend a nice day in our homeshow Kotka International. Judge for the day was
Mr. Steven Seymour, Australia and RR entry 22. Uno placed second out
of 6 tough champion males and finally placed as Best Male-2
with reserv-CACIB. Best male and BOB was Tarujen Mabaru. Best
bitch for today was beautiful Ikimba Yaba Moyo who also became
champion today. Congratulations Jonna & Maissi!

In jackrusselterrier ring Mauno (Ch Miimoksen Bolboshoenus) once
again did a same result as his friend Uno placing BM-2 with CACIB.
Tellu (Boldandbrainy Walk With Me) won the Intermediate class with
EXC and placed as BB-2 with CAC. Congratulations Ansku for little
guys results and thanks for the company.

We
did some photoshooting for a looong time. Esa and Uno playing in

First blood track of this spring. Uno did an excellent work after a
little difficulties in beginning. He was at first sure we were about
to seach some guys from the woods and didn´t anyhow understood that
I wanted him to track this time.

We
had a nice weekend trip to Sweden, kennel Murumbi to meet Libban,
Bisquit and the puppies. Puppies were great and we really enjoyed
our stay. Thanks Libban for your hospitality - we´ll see you soon!
Thanks also Malin & Tobbe for a drive to Värtahamnen and it sure was
a pleasure to meet you too. Hope to meet you in few weeks also.

Congratulations my birthay boy. Uno turned 5 years today and we had
a big "children party" for Uno´s best friends. The theme for the
party was pirates and as can be seen in the picture Uno was also
dressed according to the theme (and so was our guests).
I want to thank Unos breeders, Sanna & Pasi for giving me this
wonderful and very special male. I couldn´t have had a better dog.
Uno has been a challenge for me but it has been a nice challenge to
take! I´m very satisfied with this handsome, healthy and funny guy.

FINALLY: We have moved in to our house. Since now I try to be a
better person what comes to contacting my friends and spending time
with Uno (and updating my pages if I just get this damned connection
to work).

On
thursday morning we started a looooong trip to Norway. 18 people and
32 dogs headed to North-Norway, to Harstad to take part one
International show. 2700 kilometres total, wonderful views and...
nothing to bring home from the show ;)
Uno result was CH EXC1, BM-2, reserv-CACIB by judge Petru Muntean
(RO).
On Jackrusselterrier ring Mauno (CH Miimoksen Bolboshoenus) got CH
EXC1, BM-3 and Tellu (Boldandbrainy Walk With Me) EXC1, BB-2, CACIB
under judge Nils Molin (SE). Tellu won quite big open class and got
the only CQ in the class. Only 2 CQ´s was awarded to bitches.
Congratulations to Annemari for Tellus first CACIB and first
performance outside the junior class. Also thanks for the lovely
trip to my usual dog show partner Ansku and everyone else in our bus
for a funny company. Special thanks for the back seat girls Sanna
and Marjo and a big congrats for the new champions!

little puppies (2 boys and 3 girls) were born in kennel
Murumbi (SE)
today. All puppies seems to be showquality. Mother and puppies are
doing well. We are following them to grow with a great interest.
Congratulations breeder Libban and mother Bisquit (Dea Decoras
Bisquit) for such a great litter.

Greetings from hot India (South Goa). We spend 2 weeks vacation
there and came back to Finland today.

We
bought an old house in 10th January and since then we have spend all
the free time (free from work and sleep) repairing and renoviering
the oldie. Uno HATES hanging around in the building site becouse no
one has time to play with him and there´s dirt everywhere (our
little prins...) He has figured a way to make his own fun with
stealing the hammers, screw drivers and other needed stuff. Also
ripping the gloves from peoples hands is a great fun. Yesterday he
suprised me by throuwing up a whole leather glove (in one piece) -
my 5 year old who has never done anything like that before...
So that´s my excuse not to update my site. Well - on the otherhand
there´s nothing to update except: "today we take down the wall
between old livingroom and bedroom etc."

International show in Turku. Ridgeback entry xx and our judge was
Mr. Christian Juanchricot (FR). Uno gained Excellent in champion
class and placed 3rd in class competition.
